Dr. Marie Bragg earned her PhD in clinical psychology at Yale University and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health at the NYU School of Medicine. She also serves as the Director of Research Community Development in the Office of Science and Research at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Bragg’s research examines the influence of social media and unhealthy food marketing on the health and well-being of children and adolescents. She has testified on policy proposals before the New York City Council, the New York State Assembly, and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. She has served as an expert reviewer for the World Health Organization, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the National Institutes of Health. She has served as a Senior Behavioral Expert at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission in the Bureau of Consumer Protection. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, LA Times, TIME, CNN, CBS, Fox News, Reuters, USA Today, and Doctor Radio on SiriusXM.
